Located in Normandy, near Rouen in France, Nutriset acts as an operational excellence center and model factory for the entire PlumpyField network. At the forefront of industrial expertise in terms of agility and quality, the company enables a rapid response to major humanitarian crises thanks to its strong production capacity. Over the past several years, Nutriset has also begun a digital transformation of its factory to, among other things, maximize productivity and respond to numerous requests.
With more than 35 years of activity and a collective of 171 employees, Nutriset has developed a range of products that cover various forms of malnutrition to address different types of affected populations: infants, children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, sick adults, and the elderly.
In 2022, nearly 148 million children under the age of 5 suffered from stunting and 45 million from severe wasting worldwide: alarming figures that are at risk of skyrocketing due to the consequences of climate change, economic crises, and conflicts! Since its inception, Nutriset has been committed to fighting malnutrition among vulnerable populations, and today, more than ever, it is more than a mission, it's a duty!
Achieving the United Nations' Zero Hunger goal (SDG2) is at the heart of our activity. We have transformed our operations to be agile, responsive, and digital to ensure efficient production, exceeding demand, and to meet urgent nutritional needs in crisis situations.
