Research Grant 2024

22 April 2024

Promoting nutritional care for adult patients with/or at risk of disease-related malnutrition in resource-limited settings

Nutriset Development’s ambition is to continuously act and promote nutritional care, and particularly in resourced-limited settings.

Today, millions of people are affected by different diseases, increasing malnutrition cases:

  • 249M of malaria cases
  • 39M of people living with HIV
  • 20M of estimated cancer cases
  • 10.6M of people have developed tuberculosis

Good nutritional status contributes to better tolerance and compliance with medical treatment and improved quality of life.

With this objective, we are offering financial support to innovative projects that seamlessly integrate nutritional management into healthcare systems.

The grant will allow the implementation of a project which aims to improve the screening, diagnosis and/or management of disease-related malnutrition in adults, in a hospital environment.  This is an invitation to healthcare professionals, researchers, and NGOs to join forces and encourage powerful nutritional strategies that make a real difference in resourced-limited settings.

The amount of the grant – 10,000€ – helps to fund a research project related to disease-related malnutrition in adults. This may include:

  • Clinical research projects,
  • Public health research projects,
  • Evaluations of professional practices,
  • Action-research (including dissemination of information or training).

Join us in shaping the future of national nutritional care policies!
