NutriGuinée was established in 2017 as part of a public-private partnership with the Guinean government, committed to facilitating the setup of the factory and actively contributing to the financing of nutrition programs.
Inaugurated in 2022, the Conakry site is the first to benefit from the Mobi’Nut industrial innovation: a mobile, container-based factory designed to produce nutritional solutions as close to the needs as possible. This marks a new technological offering and a new mode of production within the PlumpyField® network.
Furthermore, the company supports Guinean agriculture by participating in projects aimed at improving the nutritional quality of peanuts through varietal selection.
NutriGuinée perfectly illustrates the importance of public-private partnerships in fighting malnutrition by providing local solutions to address nutritional emergencies. Since 2018, we have been working closely with the Ministry of Health, United Nations agencies, NGOs, communities, and private sector players, adding value to the management of nutrition and malnutrition in Guinea and its region.
