Based in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, Meds & Food for Kids (MFK) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) committed to fighting malnutrition in children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, and schoolchildren.
MFK’s factory employs 48 Haitian citizens, embodying its commitment to fight against poverty and for local economic development. The MFK teams are particularly invested in sustainable and efficient production through various initiatives. They actively support and collaborate with Haitian farmers to improve the quality and yield of their peanut crops, which are essential for the production of nutritional solutions and also contribute to a more nutritious diet for families.
This approach to sustainability is also reflected in the production facilities: since 2023, the factory has been entirely powered by solar energy, managed by a Haitian team.

By uniting our efforts with those of 150 Haitian partners, including clinics, schools, and NGOs, MFK fosters a community-based approach to fighting malnutrition. Our impact extends beyond Haiti's borders, reaching 17 additional countries. At Meds & Food for Kids, we strongly believe in locally-led solutions to strengthen food systems, break the cycle of poverty, save lives, and build a future free from hunger.
