Located in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, with its 39 employees, InnoFaso is the first company to integrate into the 2iE technopole: the International Institute of Engineering, which trains engineers in the fields of water, energy, environment, and civil engineering.
Quickly, InnoFaso aims to be a tool in Burkina Faso’s food security plan, focusing on the production of nutritional solutions to combat malnutrition in children under five years old.
The company stands out for its sustainable development approach, valuing the local agri-food supply chain, especially the production of peanuts, the main ingredient in the Plumpy’Nut product.
With this local production, InnoFaso aims to replace imports and strengthen its efforts in the fight against malnutrition, by tackling the problem upstream of the critical phase (prevention).
