Nutrivita Foods at the World Food India, in New Delhi, 3rd to 5th novembre 2017

Nutrivita Foods first participation to the World Food India from 3rd to 5th november 2017 in New Dehli. A unique occasion to talk about its products and innovative activities in the field of nutrition.

For the first time, Nutrivita Foods, member of the PlumpyField® network and supported by Onyx Développement (Groupe Nutriset) attended the World Food India (WFI) from 3rd to 5th november 2017 in New Dehli. An exhibition space was a unique occasion to talk about its products and innovative activities in the field of nutrition.

Based in Pune, State of Maharashtra, India, Nutrivita Foods is an agri-food company dedicated to the manufacturing of high nutritional value food products. Through the valorisation of local raw materials, it manufactures Plumpy’Nut®, Plumpy’Sup™ and Plumpy’Doz™, ready-to-use specialised foods developed by Nutriset to support vulnerable populations in the prevention and treatment of malnutrition. These products are exported from India to a dozen countries in Africa and Asia, like in Afghanistan or Bangladesh.

Nutrivita Foods aims to also develop food supplements to meet the specific needs of targeted populations such as children enrolled in school feeding programmes or pregnant and lactating women during pre and post-natal care.

Established in 2010, Nutrivita Foods stems from the international partnership between Indian entrepreneurs and entities from the Nutriset Group, whose contributions in the field of nutrition and particularly the fight against malnutrition are widely recognised, through field-based scientific research projects, a comprehensive agro-industrial expertise and a unique social mandate.

Nutrivita Foods is a member of the PlumpyField® network which gathers agri-food producers aligned on a similar activity: the fight against malnutrition and for food satisfaction. This independent international network present in 10 countries allows synergies in research, knowledge capitalization, operational excellence, innovation and quality. Their common mission is to contribute to nutritional autonomy for all.

By participating in the WFI, Nutrivita Foods was able to share its experience with local agribusiness stakeholders, discuss its mandate and actions with government officials and meet organizations and companies with the same vision and commitment on key issues of nutrition.

The lesson to be learned from this participation at WFI: in India, the mobilization around quality food and nutrition is today a factor of innovation for all social actors.
